U.Me is a musical about two young strangers who fall in love online during lockdown, and how they cope with the reality of life in the years afterwards.

It has a run time of 1 hour and 50 minutes, and is actually two acts: During lockdown, and two years after lockdown.

Each act is 12 separate songs, with numerous sets and characters to meet along

the way.

It is a deeply emotional story, of love, loss, redemption and tackles the psyche of the human mind when confronted by such an extraordinary event like the pandemic.

the making of the animation

Over the next few weeks, we will be releasing a series of videos, with Dan Masterton, animation director of U.Me, explaining how The Mighty Pie turned music into animation.
