The Mighty Pie Animations is run by Dan Masterton.
Dan started as a comic artist working for Skull magazine, 2000AD and smaller independents. He then naturally switched to the world of storytelling using animation and motion, and has been an independent animator, director and writer for 30 years.
Dan has created work in most areas - B2B, B2C, television series, film and games. His work includes animating and directing the award winning film U.Me the musical for the BBC, animating on the Netflix Buddi series, as well as work for Lego, and numerous game title animations.
As well as this, he has created multiple award winning short films, including Ewebitikus Klaw and Death and the Comedian
Dan has created multiple B2B and B2C animations, with clients including Roche, PA Consulting Group, BP, Michelin and many more.
He write scripts, storyboard, models, animate - both keyframed and motion capture, for highly accurate human motion, and finalises in compositing and editing.
His love of art and technology mixed with original thinking, makes his unique style highly sought after.
